PGDM
A two-year full-time business management
programme is offered by PGDM (BM) XLRI, with successful graduates receiving a
Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM). The graduates of this
programme today hold important positions in a variety of businesses both
domestically and internationally.
A fifteen-month full-time residential
management programme called PGDM (GM), formerly known as GMP, is offered by
XLRI. Students who enter the programme must have at least five years of
expertise in a variety of industries, such as IT/ITeS, energy/power,

contemporary corporate warriors who have a personal touch. Students can learn

Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource
Management (PGDM) The Institute offers a two-year full-time Human Resource
Management programme, upon which students are awarded. The Institute’s teaching

EX-PGDM (GENERAL)
Enhancing the skill sets and
capabilities of working managers is the goal of the Ex-PGDM (General) Program.

not only give them access to new skill sets, but would also enable them to

provides specialisations in traditional fields including Economics, Finance,

and Strategic Management, its main objective is to train current managers for

area is included in the 15-month, full-time, AICTE-recognized programme.

Fellow Management Program (FPM)
The programme prepares aspiring
academics to become knowledgeable and creative management researchers and
educators. It aims to prepare students for careers as professors at prestigious
academic institutions as well as for jobs outside of academia that call for
advanced research and analytical skills.
Requirements for the FPM programme
Eligibility requirements for admission
to the FPM are either:
- A)
a BE/B. Tech. degree or its equivalent with a minimum grade point average
of 60 percent (50 percent for SC/ST candidates) after finishing upper
secondary school (10+2) or an equivalent programme, followed by at least
two years of relevant job experience,
OR
- B)
After completing higher secondary education (10+2) or a comparable
programme, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent of at least three years with
at least 60% marks (50 percent for SC/ST candidates), followed by a
post-graduation (MBA/degree Master’s in any discipline) from a university
or other higher education facility in India or abroad with at least 55%
marks (50 percent for SC/ST candidates), is required,
OR
- C)
a four- or five-year integrated master’s degree in any field, earned after
finishing higher secondary education (10+2 or an equivalent programme,
with a minimum grade point average of 55 percent (50 percent for SC/ST
candidates),
OR
- D)
a professional degree with at least a 55 percent grade point average (50
percent for SC/ST candidates), such as a CA, ICWA, or CS.
Admission Process
Eligible applicants may submit an
application for admission to the FPM via ONE of the three following channels:
Participate in the Xavier Aptitude Test
(XAT), which is administered by XLRI throughout India.
The following XAT is expected to take
place on January 2, 2022. To register for the XAT-2022 online, go here and
follow the instructions.
ROUTE 2: Take a separate test and submit
your results. You can do this by taking the GMAT, the GRE, the GRE Subject
Test, or the GATE.
Have completed a two-year full-time PGDM
or MBA programme, or its equivalent, from XLRI, any IIM, FMS Delhi, MDI
Gurgaon, XIMB, IRMA, SP Jain, TISS, ISI, or the school/department of management
of an IIT with a CQPI of at least 6 on a scale of 8, or something comparable.
Applications obtained via one of the three aforementioned channels will be
shortlisted by XLRI on the basis of merit. For final selection, shortlisted
candidates would have to come to the XLRI campus in Jamshedpur and show up for
a personal interview.
